Please do not confuse these items with cheap, home made, battery operated systems which are available on the web, these are reliable, well made units. There are cheaper products around but this one works, we have sent these units to China, Hong Kong, Holland, Switzerland, France and Spain as well as all over the UK, they are proven. Reliable and robust, the hire cost is £180 including delivery and vat (see hire rates below)
Individual Button System we normally supply four strips of four buttons and lamps for extremely easy set up (each strip is approximately 1.2m. long) but we also supply individual button units which 'daisy chain' together for a more flexible set up
A pair of single button units which can be 'daisy chained' for more flexibility, the mobile phone should give you some idea of the size of each unit. Our units are reliable, robust, simple to set up & operate
|
Cable runs, each unit is supplied with a 1m fly lead and then they 'daisy chain' together.
What do they do? Our units feature a centre console for the Quizmaster and four contestant strips, each strip is fitted with four buttons and four indicator lamps, the Quizmaster asks a question and if a competitor thinks that he or she knows the answer they press the button in front of them, a buzzer sounds and the light in front of that competitor illuminates, if they answer correctly the Quizmaster moves on to the next question, if their answer is incorrect the Quizmaster presses the next button and the light in front of the person who answered second is illuminated, the Quizmaster can then answer that person, this process can be repeated until all 16 contestants have been illuminated.
If you do not wish to use the 'next' facility you do not have to. We never pretend that we offer the cheapest buzzers on the market, we do offer reliable units, reliable service and simple to set up systems. We supply Corporate Quiz Services all over the UK and most of Europe, when we first started we imported our equipment from the United States and then we purchased systems here in the UK, they all had 3 things in common, they were flimsy, fiddly to set up and unreliable

The Cost Typically a 2 day hire of a 16 switch buzzer system will cost in the region of £180 including vat and delivery (we use Interlink Express) to the UK mainland. The hirer is responsible for the cost of returning the item to us and you should allow around £20 for this. The units are well packaged and if you open the delivery cartons with care you will be able to re-use them for the return journey. The hirer is responsible for any damage or loss caused during the return journey. We recommend using an insured delivery method.

Our standard 'dry hire' package consists of a master console complete with power supply (you will one standard 13 amp wall socket) and four 'buzzer strips', each fitted with four buttons and four indicator lights to show who buzzed first. All leads and instructions are included. All of our equipment is CE approved, not home made but professionally designed and manufactured to meet the rigours of life on the road

I'll offer that for a bonus! Our buzzers are the best, not only do they tell you who buzzed first but they also list the order in which the other buzzers were pressed. This gives your question master the option to pass the question for a bonus if the first player gives the wrong answer. Do not underestimate the importance of this, if the first person buzzing gives you the wrong answer you will have to pose yet another question (compiling questions is a very time consuming activity) with the 'NEXT' button you know who pressed 2nd. 3rd. and so on at the push of a button. Ideal for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire style elimination rounds SEE BELOW FOR MORE ON THIS |

How does it work ? The Quizmaster asks the question of the person who buzzed first, if he or she gets it right the Quizmaster resets the console and moves on to the next question, if he or she gets it wrong the Quizmaster has the option to check the console to see who pressed second (third, fourth and so on), the Quizmaster can then pass the question down to the line until somebody gets it right.
